Beauty Secrets

Some beauty uses of  petroleum jelly

1. Flawless Eyelashes

Rub Vaseline on your lashes with the help of q-tip or with fingers before going to bed. Apply it like you apply mascara to get long and healthy eyelashes.
I've tried this and it really works.

2. Smell beautiful all day

Apply petroleum jelly to the inside of your wrists and behind your ears, and spray some perfume on it. This will keep the fragrance intact.

3. Tame your brows

Dab a pinch of Vaseline on your finger tip or on your mascara wand and smoothn it over your brows to shape them. Finish by combing your brows with the mascara wand or toothbrush.

4. Dewy bare face

Apply a coat of petroleum jelly to your face and blend in your liquid foundtion with it.

5. Lip and body scrub

For lip scrub, mix some sugar with a tea-spoon of petroleum jelly. It will help you get rid of flaky and chapped lips. You can also apply petroleum jelly on your lips and use toothbrush gently on your lips in circular motion.
Just replace the sugar with sea salt when using it as a body scrub.

Redecorate your room

Some cheap ways to make your bedroom feel brand new

1. Reposition your furniture

Repositioning your furniture can give a whole new look to your room. If you have a fairly large room, your bed doesn't need to lean against the wall. If you add some space between the bed and the window, you'll create a cozy reading spot.
You can also rearrange your study table and your dressing table to make your room look and feel brand new. As change is necessary to brighten up your dull life.

2.  Rearrange your artwork

Shift your frames from one wall to other or rearrange them.

3. Use christmas lights to brighten up your room

Try replacing your lamps, throw in some string lights (probably yellow ones), add a suspending lantern or bulb, or maybe even a quirky chandelier.
You can also check out my previous blog to see how you can make a mason jar lamp.

Checkout my previous blog!

4. Cover your walls with tapestries

Tapestries are fantastic because not only do they make a bold statement, but they are relatively cheap and they make your room super renter-friendly.

5. Mount more of your furniture onto the walls

Put up bookshelves, pictures.

6. Arrange your closet

Donate your unwanted clothes. Better yet, totally minimize your wardrobe and get a swanky clothes rail.

7. Go all out on pillow bedecking

Stack up on throw pillows and make your room cozy.

So these are some easy ways to rearrange your bedroom and change the look. Though a little effort is required..but its cheap!
Happy rearranging :D xox
